BREAKING: ‘No Safe Level’ of Chlorpyrifos, According to EU Food Safety Authority |
Friend -
The European Food Safety Authority just declared there is no safe level of chlorpyrifos, a neurotoxic pesticide that can harm kids’ brains.
This comes just weeks after Trump’s EPA decided to continue to allow chlorpyrifos on fruits and vegetables. Europe is now poised to ban this dangerous chemical while the U.S. continues to protect pesticide industry profits over kids’ health.
Even the EPA’s own scientists concluded that the levels of chlorpyrifos currently found on food and in drinking water are unsafe!
Although the U.S. government has turned its back on protecting our health, you can count on EWG to keep fighting for you. We’re ready to keep pushing to get chlorpyrifos out of our food and water, but we need your help. Take our quick survey right now to help our team set our priorities on toxic pesticides like chlorpyrifos.
