We are going to get through the coronavirus outbreak together. If you are experiencing symptoms or are looking for more information, you can visit the website of the CDC or the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. We are closely monitoring the situation and its effects on the people of Montana and our nation as we work together to keep our families and communities safe.
John,
An important update came from Washington yesterday —
The House of Representatives passed the coronavirus relief package, providing immediate assistance to workers, small businesses, and industries who are struggling in the wake of the crisis.
Thanks to Democrats in the House, this bill provides more protections and assistance to working Americans than any previous version. The bill is not perfect, but it does more for working families than any proposed legislation put forward by Republicans throughout the past week. This is an important first step to protect everyday Americans from the economic devastation the pandemic caused.
Help us show Congressional Democrats we appreciate their hard work and encourage them to keep up the fight for working people by signing our thank you card >>>
This crisis has highlighted what we already knew — our system prioritizes big corporations and the wealthy over everyday Americans who are the beating heart of our communities and our economy. We must continue to fight — and show Congress that their work is not finished — there is still a lot to get done before we will be out of the woods.
The GOP made one thing very clear — if they had it their way working families would be abandoned for the interests of the stock market. Republican leaders in the House used this vote as an opportunity to brag about the “pro-growth policies that brought about the strongest economy on the planet.” But their idea of growth collapsed in a matter of weeks, and going forward will harm Americans’ health and livelihoods.
Democrats, meanwhile, are fighting for healthcare for all Americans, good-paying jobs, and a system that puts people before profits. That’s a party I’m proud to be a part of.

I’m running for Congress because we must level the playing field so that every hard working Montanan has the opportunity to get ahead.
We are nowhere near finished. Thanks for joining us in this fight.
