Dear members and supporters,
Join us on Thursday, March 7 in Washington, D.C. for the People’s State of the Union where we will bring a clear message that there will be no business as usual until Biden stops his complicity in genocide!
The heinous genocide of Palestinians, enabled by the U.S. Government and the Biden administration, is drawing widespread condemnation around the world. The past 130+ days of the U.S.-backed Israel bombing of Palestinian homes, universities, and hospitals have killed over 30,000 Palestinians, more than 12,000 of whom are children.
Our demands as a movement remain:
- Immediate and permanent ceasefire now!
- No more money or weapons to Israel for its genocide against Palestinians!
- Fund the people’s and planets' needs — not war and militarism.
As Biden prepares for the State of the Union address on March 7, we call on all people of conscience to come to D.C. for the People's State of the Union where we'll show Biden that the majority of the U.S. population is in favor of a ceasefire now. We will gather in D.C. for a rally and a mass direct action.
We invite all who are willing to take part in the direct action — sign up if you’d like to participate and receive more information.
This moment requires critical action from all of us to maintain pressure and force action from the government that is supposed to represent our interests. We need you: parents, teachers, nurses, students, union members, and more to turn out! Bring your communities and lend your voice to our collective demand for an immediate ceasefire.
What are the most urgent concerns your family and community are facing that would benefit from the billions of dollars that Congress is spending on weapons, war, and genocide? How should our democracy work to ensure the collective safety and well-being for all of us, including Palestinians? What's the message your community wants to send to the Biden administration about his complicity in genocide?
Come answer these questions with us and these endorsing organizations on March 7!
See you in Washington, D.C.! |
