Great News through Grant Funding for Small Businesses
In January, Congressman Kim announced that the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) was selected to receive $2.5 million in grant funding over four years from the Minority Business Development Agency’s Capital Readiness Program to support the success and growth of minority-owned businesses.
We were proud to have supported their application! Federal support like this for organizations like National ACE goes a long way to make sure our diverse business communities have the access to capital, resources, and support they need to thrive.
Congressman Kim Hosts Social Media for Nonprofits Webinar
In January, our office hosted a webinar about how to expand your audience and impact on social media. The conversation covered how to use social media as a tool to reach donors, volunteers, and clients, and featured Anysa Holder, Chief Advancement Officer for Easterseals New Jersey and the executive lead over advocacy, marketing, internal communications, customer support, and fundraising.

RESOURCE: Inflation Reduction Act Tax Credits and Rebates
Our office launched a webpage to bring you up-to-date information on how the Inflation Reduction Act could help you save money on your taxes.
Congressman Kim was proud to help pass the Inflation Reduction Act into law to invest in American energy production and combat climate change more than any bill in American history. Through this, millions of New Jerseyans and businesses are already eligible for tax credits that will make it easier and more affordable for them to upgrade to more efficient appliances, purchase an electric vehicle, install residential clean energy systems, and save money on their energy bills. All the tax credits are available as of January 2023, but it may take 1-2 years for the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to implement some of the rebate programs.

Additionally, this month our office hosted a webinar breaking down some of these savings. Watch here!
Roebling Museum Receives New Grant!
The local Roebling Museum helps tell stories of American innovation, immigration, industry, and family, and the incredible use of Roebling Wire for some of our nation's most iconic bridges! We were excited to celebrate recent news that they received a new grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Helping preserve the history of New Jersey steelworkers is such a great use of federal grant funding!
Speaking with the Southern NJ Development Council
Congressman Kim enjoyed speaking with the Southern New Jersey Development Council about progress made through the Inflation Reduction Act, bipartisan infrastructure law, and other impactful legislation, as well as ways to boost economic growth across all industries and global competitiveness in the future.
