Rising 5's

A reminder that all children *born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019* should have already applied for a school place.

Those born 1st September 2018 ? 31st December 2018 are now statutory school age and should be in school.

Those born 1st January 2019 ? 31st March 2019 will be statutory on 1st April 2024 and should be transitioning into school after Easter.

Those born 1st April 2019 ? 31st August 2019 will be statutory on the 1st September 2024 but should have a school place known and systems should be in place to confirm if they are entering into a year one class or whether a deferral has been granted meaning that the child will start in reception.

If a child is staying with you in the summer term, there will be a statutory expectation for you to complete their Early Years Foundation Stage Profile, unless the child is granted a deferral.

If you have a child in your setting who has not yet been allocated a school place, please contact *admissions* on *0115 841 5568* (Mon ? Wed 09:30-12:30)?who will be able to help signpost you to how best to proceed. For further information, please see the website www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/schooladmissions [ [link removed] ]
