Last night, Donald Trump swept through Republican Super Tuesday primaries. If there was any doubt that he'd be the Republican nominee for president in 2024, those questions were put to rest with his wins.
If you woke up with a feeling of deep unease that another Trump term in office is possible, you are not alone.
If you look at some of the national polls, Trump is leading by a few points over Joe Biden.
But at the end of the election, it will all come down to certain states, and no state is more important than Michigan. Not just for the White House, but for control of the Senate.
So now that the general election is essentially here, you can expect lots more visits from Trump and Republican surrogates. You can expect more ads from outside groups.
And you can expect all of them to try and drag Elissa down. Because they know if they can beat us, it means control of the Senate and Trump likely wins Michigan.
That's a lot of pressure on our race. But if people rally together behind Elissa and provide the support we need, we're going to win. So in light of Trump's wins last night, we're asking:
