We understand that in this time, many Americans are facing unprecedented challenges. We wouldn’t ask for donations if it wasn’t crucial, but please contribute only if you can. This campaign is always here as a resource, no matter your situation. If you are in St. Louis, please check this living list for support: CoriBush.org/COVID

John,
I hope you’re okay. I’ve spent even more time than usual checking in on my loved ones. So now I want to check in on you. First of all, if you’re in the district, please read and share our resource list for valuable information about services during the pandemic: Coribush.org/COVID. Secondly, no matter what your answer is or the emotions you’re experiencing are, there’s a message you need to hear.
After losing irreplaceable time with my family, friends, and wonderful campaign community, I’ve spent the past few days reflecting on this moment in history. When I introduced Senator Bernie Sanders at his presidential rally in St. Louis earlier this month, I told all of my neighbors in the crowd: “This is our moment.” I thought about all of the communities in this nation we call home who have trailblazed their way to social victories that never seemed possible until they tried. I looked at the sea of faces and I saw a movement of people dreaming of a better life in St. Louis, in Missouri, in America. I saw a movement daring to believe in this moment.
Something happens when we are almost ready to give up, but we choose instead to throw our bodies, voices, and votes behind a movement that offers a light at the end of the tunnel. That choice? It’s hope. And when we dare to hope, and lock arms with others who hope, one person turns into thousands, then millions. And sometimes, choosing hope changes history.

From the Black Panthers to ACT UP, from the war in Vietnam to the invasion of the Dakota Access Pipeline, from #OccupyWallStreet to #MeToo, our movements have made history time and time again. So as we venture into the unknown, don’t lose sight of the power of our people, our movement, our values, and our hope. We must organize like our lives depend on it, because they do. I’m not giving up. Will you stay with me?
Solidarity forever,
