Rather than door knocking to promote our campaign, our field team has transitioned to checking in with our neighbors to connect them with the resources they need.
This week our field team set a goal of calling 1,000 San Franciscans. We've delivered groceries to seniors, volunteered at the local food bank, and advocated for real rent suspension.

This pandemic has demonstrated the need for a campaign rooted in the working class. It's important to us that our campaign is at the front lines of responding to this crisis, because our staff knows what it's like to struggle to make ends meet.
Volunteering at our local food bank.Before running for Congress, I worked at a nonprofit. Other members of our team worked as baristas, freelance journalists, and organizers before joining our campaign.
Like 65% of San Franciscans, I'm a renter. I know what it's like to be housing insecure. I, too, worry about what would happen to me if I was evicted. In contrast, my opponent Nancy Pelosi owns multiple homes.
