I want to assure you that we are not letting this new challenge stop our campaign or the momentum we’ve gathered over the last several months. In fact, it has only strengthened our work to send Jason to the U.S. Senate, where he will be an outspoken voice for all Minnesotans and work with President Trump to get America back on its feet and stronger than ever.Click here [link removed] to unsubscribe.             [link removed]
CAMPAIGN NEWSLETTERSaturday March 28, 2020
  Dear John,

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and touch base with you. I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe at this time of uncertainty. We know that COVID-19 has drastically changed your everyday life, as it has for all Americans, and it has changed how we communicate with one another.

I want to assure you that we are not letting this new challenge stop our campaign or the momentum we’ve gathered over the last several months. In fact, it has only strengthened our work to send Jason to the U.S. Senate, where he will be an outspoken voice for all Minnesotans and work with President Trump to get America back on its feet and stronger than ever.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jason Lewis had visited over 60 counties and traveled over 10,000 miles, working hard in our bid to unseat Minnesota’s radical Senator, Tina Smith. Prior to this virus becoming very serious a few weeks ago, Jason cut the ribbon on a brand new campaign headquarters and R/V that we will use to travel the state when this situation subsides.   In the last two weeks though, we’ve remained just as busy while working remotely! Jason has been hard at work calling supporters, listening to families and business owners, hosting Facebook lives, zoom meetings and tele-conferences.

Jason is concerned about the economic toll that the Governor’s “Shelter in Place” order is having, and this week called for the most vulnerable among us to keep themselves in isolation, but made clear that we can not permanently cripple our economy, and that we should allow businesses to re-open if they so choose, while observing safe social distancing practices. You can read the full op-ed here [link removed], this virus has made one thing clear. We need to be tougher as a country when it comes to border security and disentangling our dependence on foreign countries. It’s simply unacceptable, at a time like this to be dependent on China (the country responsible for this outbreak) for manufacturing, mining, drugs and medical supplies. John, Conservatives, including Jason, have worked hard to put the country on the right track, and they’re more determined than ever to ensure that we can continue on the path to prosperity. The Democrats are only focused on the seats they need to flip in order to take back the Senate Majority, which means they have a huge blind spot: Minnesota, Republicans’ #1 pickup opportunity. President Trump lost here by just 1% in 2016 and has dedicated a team to mobilize on the ground to turn out the vote. Additionally, Minnesota’s radical liberal Senator Tina Smith, a former Planned Parenthood VP who has done more bidding for Chuck Schumer than her own constituents, is one of the most vulnerable incumbents up for re-election this year.

That’s where you come in, John. We need your help now more than ever. Jason is committed to building the best grassroots campaigns this cycle, but we can’t do it without your help. We’re coming up on the FEC’s first fundraising deadline of 2020. This is a big one and we want to make a statement so we can put Tina Smith and Chuck Schumer on notice.

Jason and I are hopeful that we’ll finish out the quarter strong, and we’ve created a customized link for you to chip in $5, $10, whatever you can, to help us get there:
