Two years ago, the Supreme Court stripped away women’s freedom to make their own healthcare decisions for the first time in over 50 years. And ever since then, we have seen an increased number of attacks on abortion services, contraceptives, and healthcare providers across the country.
And just this past month, the Alabama Supreme Court issued a ruling threatening IVF – a critical beacon of support for families grappling with the challenge of infertility. JOHN, this extremism on the far right has gone too far. This clearly isn’t a matter of “pro-life,” but an attempt to control women’s rights across the country.
But let’s get this straight: MAGA extremists are no match for the will of the American people.
We have to elect a pro-choice majority to Congress this November so we can halt any GOP efforts to restrict women’s healthcare at the federal level – and electing this majority starts right here in Rhode Island.
