People For the American Way

Friend,

The battle to defeat Trump has reached a critical juncture.

Just yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that Trump remains eligible to be on the ballot for this year's election – overturning a decision from Colorado’s Supreme Court that Trump was ineligible because of his involvement in the January 6 insurrection. The Court held that states do not have the authority to determine the eligibility of federal candidates under section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

This decision is not just a legal technicality; it's a wake-up call for all of us who believe in justice, equality, and the fundamental principles upon which our country was founded. It is a reminder that the threat of Trumpism looms large, and we cannot afford to be complacent.

So where do we go from here? With criminal court cases pending and unlikely to conclude before the election, our best and likely only chance at preventing a second Trump term is to defeat him at the ballot box this November.

That’s where you come in. People For is rapidly advancing our campaigns to mobilize voters in key states and districts across the nation, fight voter suppression attempts by MAGA Republicans, and continue building upon the success of our proven strategies to ensure we can defeat Trump and his MAGA Republican allies this November.

Are you with us? Chip in today and help support our campaigns to defeat Trump this November! >>

We've come too far to let Trump and his allies continue to undermine our most important values, dismantle our trusted institutions, and sow division among our communities. Now more than ever, we must unite in our determination to defeat him at the ballot box.

For more than 40 years People For has been on the frontlines of these fights and with your continued support and advocacy we’ll continue to be at the forefront throughout 2024 and beyond.

Make a contribution today to support our efforts in this critical election year! >>

Thanks for all that you do.
