Dear John,

We’re almost there!

I can’t tell you how much we appreciate the generosity supporters like you have shown during The Big Share. Thanks to the generosity of members like you, Wisconsin Conservation Voices won a $1,000 power hour prize this morning!

There are still a few hours left before The Big Share comes to a close – and if you give now, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by our board members to help us reach our $25,000 Big Share goal. Will you chip in with a tax-deductible gift today to help put us over the top? [[link removed]]

Your support is so important – but don’t take my word for it! See why some of our newest board members are supporting Wisconsin Conservation Voices during The Big Share:

I became a WCV Board Member because I want to protect the waters, hills and valleys in Wisconsin where we make our literal home. The unique features of this state – the fresh water, the legacy of organic farming, the outdoor recreation opportunities – all rely on a clean and healthful environment.

If you've ever visited our corner of the world or admired the unexpected beauty of Wisconsin, you know this is a place worth protecting simply because of its inherent goodness. I am happy to be supporting the team that is doing some of the very best work in conservation and hope you will join me: [[link removed]]

My beautiful grandparents worked so hard in Milwaukee, in many industries, to save money for the family and give us a life of happiness and wonderful memories.

Unfortunately a lot of the companies they worked for exposed them to a lot of dangerous chemicals, toxins, and pollutants. My grandpa worked for a company that was knowingly exposing their workers to chemicals that could cause lung cancers and diseases, but they didn't tell their employees about it. My grandpa was later diagnosed with Mesothelioma.

He fought hard to sue the company for damages but the damages were already done. Pollution in our cities, soot and ash from growing wildfires, smog from car pollution, and heat waves have made life very difficult for him and his lungs.

It doesn't have to be this way. We need to make sure we're protecting our land, water and air for everyone. We need to protect our environment for people like my grandparents, for our children and future children, and those whose voices are often ignored.

Wisconsin Conservation Voices does this crucial work and so much more. Please support this fantastic organization with any amount that you're able to donate: [[link removed]]

I have interacted with Wisconsin Conservation Voices for over 20 years as an environmental advocate, a supporter and now as a proud Board member. I am so grateful that Wisconsin has Wisconsin Conservation Voices to keep the issues of climate, clean water, and democracy front and center. I especially love how they are connecting the dots between our votes and better outcomes for Wisconsin’s environment. [[link removed]]
