OLYMPIA ? The Governor?s Mansion Foundation is presenting National Poetry Month tours at the Mansion on Wednesday, April 3, and Wednesday, April 10. The tours are free and open to the public and will include short poems read aloud, written by present and past Washington state poet laureates.?
For reservations, complete an online?mansion tour request form. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Each tour is open to 30 guests and spots fill up fast.?
Tour details
Adult tour guests must present photo identification and all visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Masks are not required. No umbrellas, strollers or food/drink are allowed on the tour. The mansion is accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. Visitors must walk a 200-yard incline to the entrance.
