Project 2025 represents a deliberate attempt to roll back environmental protections, slow our momentum on climate action, and promote policies that could exacerbate climate change.
The plan includes efforts to politicize climate science, reduce funding for clean energy research and incentives, and eliminate programs aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It also proposes to restrict U.S. participation in international climate agreements and to remove climate considerations from foreign aid programs.
The implications of this plan would be devastating if Trump is elected president again. It threatens to derail the significant progress we’ve made in recent years towards achieving a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
