Dear Green American,
There is so much upsetting news around the world these days, it can feel overwhelming. As we try to find ways to help those in need, it’s important to take time to care for ourselves.
Gardening is a great way to relax and recharge and can also be a way to connect with our loved ones and neighbors. Need a place to garden? Ask your grandparents or neighbor if you could garden a small plot of their land. Are your kids renters? Offer them a spot of your yard for them to garden. Share the veggies you grow and admire the beauty of your garden with others.
No matter where you live or how much space you have (even if you live in an apartment), a Climate Victory Garden is part of the movement of thousands of individuals across the country (and world!) who are gardening for the climate.
