As you watch the results come in this evening, remember that behind every vote tally are the poll workers and election officials who worked overtime to ensure smooth and fair elections.

But also remember this: election officials have been facing record levels of violence thanks to a surge of conspiracies perpetrated by Trump and his MAGA movement.

Threats, intimidation, and outright assault have become the norm against those running and protecting our elections.

We’ve seen calls for election officials to be hanged, shot, and even tried for treason. But all the GOP will do is push more lies and nominate more violent insurrectionists.
