In just a few short hours, voters will determine our slate of Democratic candidates for November. Then, the real work begins.
Even though I’m term-limited as Governor and not on the ballot this time, I’m eager to get out on the campaign trail on behalf of strong leaders who will keep up the progress in North Carolina — leaders like Josh Stein, who’s running for Governor, Allison Riggs, who’s running for state Supreme Court, and Mo Green, who’s running for state superintendent.
I’ve been lucky enough to see just what teamwork can do when it comes to winning as a Democrat in North Carolina. I know that building momentum from the grassroots up, listening to the concerns and hopes of our communities, and connecting with voters where they are is how we succeed.
Winning tough races always requires a team effort, John, and this time’s no different. I’m proud to be on North Carolina Democrats’ team, and I hope you’ll join me.
