Team,

I was on Meet the Press to talk about last week’s primary election in Michigan.

I advocated for years that early presidential primary elections occur in states that reflect the diversity of this country, and that issues that will matter in November become part of the early discussions. Michigan was an early state this year for the first time and we heard many voices. Voters made their voices heard, and we need to be having important conversations now – not in late October or early November.

I’ve said this before and I’ll repeat it: Michigan is a purple state and we can’t take a single election for granted.

The results of the November election are going to come down to turn out. If we want to hold the White House and Senate and take back the House, voters need to know Democrats are listening to them and their concerns.

I am working across the district to meet with voters, listen to them, and understand what they need to see to turn out to the polls this year. But I can’t do this alone. We have to work together to reach and inspire voters across America.

Will you make a donation today to fuel this important work? I’m not going to wait until September to listen and learn from voters, but I need your support to get this job done.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you for your support,

– Debbie
