,

Last weekend, we held our fourth annual Principles First Summit at the Conrad Hotel in Washington, DC where we focused on advancing a more principled conservative movement in the United States.

We brought together leaders, policy experts, and grassroots activists for three days of panels, speeches, networking, and general discussion about the preservation of America's classical liberal tradition, the meaning of conservatism today, and the future of our great country.

The Summit exceeded our highest expectations.
We sent a clear message that the principled lane in our politics is energized, knows what it believes, and cannot be ignored. Because of your continued support, the Summit more than doubled in size relative to last year.

And we aren't slowing down.  If you weren't able to join us this year, we hope you'll plan to join us at next year's Summit or at the other grassroots Principles First events we are planning around the country in the months to come.

Recap

To get a sense of our impact, take a look at the Summit by the numbers:

  • 817 registrants from 45 states

  • 51 speakers

  • 17 substantive panel discussions, interviews, and speeches

  • Dozens of national and international media outlets onsite

  • $0 spent on advertising

  • $45 per all-access ticket

Our message landed. Check out some of the media coverage of the Summit:

Next steps

After a few days to catch our breath, we are excited to roll up our sleeves with you and continue growing the Principles First community.

What's next for Principles First and how you can help:

  • The Principles First Summit will continue to be held annually as a preeminent gathering for principled Americans to rally in support of our shared ideas and to articulate a better vision for the country. Next year's summit will be even bigger and better, so make plans to join us and help spread the word.

  • Attend a regional Principles First Dinner. As previewed at the Summit, in the near term we plan to continue convening principled Americans at Principles First Dinners in key swing-state suburbs around the country to further elevate our ideas and principles during this important election year. These will kick off in the coming months, so stay tuned and join us.

  • Join our amazing volunteer team. If you’re interested in getting more involved and volunteering with Principles First, please take one minute to complete this volunteer signup form and provide us with your information.

As I said in my remarks at the Summit, we’re in the early innings of a long game–and Principles First Americans aren’t going anywhere. If we continue to be guided by our principles, we will prove to be a critical voting block in 2024 and only grow in the years ahead.

Thank you again for being a part of this community and for caring about the principles and ideas that make our country both great and good.
