John, It’s been two weeks since our campaign suspended all in-person events and direct voter outreach (door knocking). Which has been difficult to be honest.
Progressive grassroots campaigns win by knocking on doors (the free part of campaign budgets!), talking to voters about issues, and securing their support.
All that has been thrown out, and we are in full digital, phones, and mail campaign mode (the most expensive part of a campaign budget).
So here is where we are at in our digital fundraising campaign as of 4 pm today.
Our end of quarter filing deadline is just a few days away.
Take a look at our ActBlue receipts from the last 7 days. We need to double this by March 31st!
