Hi John!
This Women’s History Month, women are getting ready to bring our collective energy to the ballot box. Women show up year after year to the polls — casting nearly 10 million more votes than men in the 2020 presidential election alone. As we make our voices heard, our impact continues to grow — protecting our democracy and determining the direction of our country. As we celebrate our wins, we must acknowledge that many women of color, especially Black women, are continuing the fight against voter suppression. But we’ve never been deterred by the attempts to silence us. Black women are a powerful force in our democracy, and our voter turnout rates consistently surpass the national average.
