Now’s the time to remind Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party how much quality, universal public health care matters to Canadians.
Investing in Canadians is what we do, friend.
And last week, we took a major step forward with our plan to deliver National Universal Pharmacare so that all Canadians – no matter where they live, or how much they make – have access to the essential, lifesaving medications they need.
But Pierre Poilievre has other plans.
When asked by journalists whether he would dismantle our Liberal pharmacare plan, he refused to answer.
We can’t afford to let Pierre Poilievre and his Conservatives cut our plan which will help 9 million Canadians cover the costs of contraceptives and make it easier for 3.5 million Canadians to access lifesaving diabetes medications.
It’s about making sure that no Canadian has to choose between paying rent and taking their medication, or between buying groceries and taking care of their health.
Since 2015, we’ve invested to strengthen Canada’s universal health care system. We’re making progress for Canadians by working with provinces to shorten ER and surgical wait times, prioritizing mental health services, delivering quality dental care, and making sure that all Canadians have access to a family doctor – and now we’re delivering pharmacare.
We need your help to protect our plan from Conservative cuts.
