We are expanding our “Local Champions” initiative, and are recruiting new young people who have benefited from youth work to advocate in their communities, as part of our Youth Work Changes Lives campaign. YWI: Youth Work Ireland Week 2024
Youth Work Ireland Week 2024 takes place on Saturday April 13th – Saturday April 20th. This year's festival will explore ideas around what makes us human, and what connects us to each other, irrespective of where we are from in the world, what our religious, or ethnic beliefs are or what race we belong to.

ISSU: Annual Assembly
The ISSU AGM will take place on April 2nd (online) and 3rd (in person) 2024. The two days will encompass voting on national policy and electing the new team. All schools are able to send 4 reps on behalf of their student council.

Involve: No Shame
The No Shame Mental health Campaign for young people from the Traveller Community is offering a free Youth Leadership programme. The programme can be delivered over 1 half day or four 1-hour sessions by our experienced Youth work facilitators. All youth participants can also apply to attend a 2-day residential in Lilliput Adventure Centre. This project is supported by Involve Youth and Community services and funded through Rethink Ireland

IGG: Lego Regional Finals
At DCU St Patrick’s Campus 10 teams across five counties competed in the FIRST® LEGO® League MASTERPIECE Regional Tournament for a shot at the All-Ireland Finals, with the team Cora and the Explorers of Mosney Guides Julianstown, Co Meath, advancing.

No Name Club: Regional Youth Awards
No Name Club Regional Youth Awards took place on February 17th in both Claremorris and Hollywood. 9 members will go on to represent their clubs in the National Youth Awards in Newark Hotel in Kilkenny at the end of April
