Today is Election Day! It’s the last day to vote – Vote Centers ([link removed]) are open until 8 PM, and you can still put your ballot in any official Ballot Drop Box ([link removed]) in Los Angeles County until 8 PM tonight. If you need help voting, please contact my team at ‪(818) 394-0449‬. Like you, we are tired and over with all of the texting, calling and mail and we can’t wait for ballots to be counted. I began this journey to succeed my good friend Adam Schiff last January because there is so much at stake for our country. Our democracy is under attack, and extremists are trying to cut Social Security and Medicare, deny climate change, target LGBTQ+ kids, and pass a federal abortion ban.

Our community deserves an effective representative who will fight for our values and protect our progress from the extremists but also has the experience to deliver real results.

It has been a privilege and an honor to serve as a State Senator, where I haven’t just been an advocate for you, but I’ve actually gotten things done on issues that matter.

I took on the gun lobby and passed the nation’s strongest laws to keep dangerous weapons off our streets, including banning all gun sales to anyone under 21. Governor Newsom and I just partnered to pass a new law that restricts the concealed carry of handguns.

Planned Parenthood has recognized me as a “Champion of Reproductive Freedom” because of my successful record protecting the right to choose and for expanding access to women’s health care.

I’ve authored and passed laws making prescription drugs more affordable, reduced the level of plastics in our water, and championed policies to make housing more affordable.

I am passionate about our community. You can count on me to do my best to deliver results for our district.
