Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I’m happy to report – caucus last week was a huge success! With 5 locations for the Hennepin County Commissioner race, I’m proud to report that we had a strong presence at every location and speeches in EVERY SINGLE ROOM by me or someone who knows me well!

Many thanks to our amazing volunteers and all the community members that were able to attend caucus on a snowy night!

We have just 56 days until the Primary on April 30th!

I have been working long hours at the Capitol representing our State and communities which means I have less time than others in this race to campaign -- but I want you to know, I am 100 percent committed to this work and running for this position. I would be honored to be your next District 6 Hennepin County Commissioner!

The Hennepin County Board is made up of 7 board members and they run a $2.65B budget -- as Ways and Means Vice Chair, I am uniquely qualified for this role.

I have also served at the Capitol representing all of Edina and a portion of Bloomington for the past 6 years on all the complex policy areas that the County takes on from property taxes to disability waivers and services to water quality to transportation. I will be ready to serve on day one and will be a strong voice for all residents of the 16 cities encompassed within District 6!
