It’s been a challenging week for everyone in this country since the Prime Minister made his announcement to lockdown the UK on Monday evening.
I immediately wondered why we are expected to give up our freedoms when the planes from Milan, Tehran and Beijing continued to land. To make matters worse, the United Kingdom is still behind much of the world when it comes to testing. It seems that we are being asked to do our bit to slow down the spread of COVID-19 whilst the government haven’t even got their own act together.
The bottom line is that NHS staff and even the public must have access to testing and, so far, the government seem woefully unprepared on this issue. That must change… and quickly.
The announcement yesterday, that Boris Johnson has contracted Coronavirus, shows that if the highest in the land can get this illness then anybody can. I recorded my latest video update from home about this, which you can watch here:
