Primary Election Day is here! Don't forget to make a plan to vote
TODAY, Tuesday, March 5 if you haven't already. If you
already voted, can you reach out to 5 friends or family
members today to remind them to vote?
Take the PA PAC's "green ballot" with you to the polls (you
can download it here) and vote for our progressive slate of
endorsed candidates.
You can vote at your polling place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. To
find your March 5 Election Day Polling Place, visit
the Durham County Board of Elections
website. Please note that an ID is now required to vote in
NC.
This primary is especially important locally because it is
the deciding race for our Durham County commissioners, who allocate
tax dollars for needed services countywide, including funding our
school system.
ELECTION NIGHT PARTY DETAILS
We're excited to be back with our friends at Viceroy in downtown
Durham for the People's Alliance election night celebration on
Tuesday, March 5.
Meet us at Viceroy (335 W Main St, Durham 27701) starting at 7:30
p.m. when the polls close. Viceroy is typically closed Tuesdays but
will be open just for us on Election Night!
Join us to watch the general election returns roll in and to
celebrate all of the hard work of our members, volunteers, and
candidates this election cycle.
Viceroy is walkable from many of the downtown parking decks, and
street parking is available surrounding the restaurant. Do not park in
the Ninth Street Bakery lot across the street or risk getting
towed.
