Hi John,
It's already been a deadly year for endangered panthers in Florida.
We're only two months in, but already five of these great cats have been struck and killed by vehicles.
Please support our work to save panthers and other imperiled species with a gift today to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.

Panthers once roamed throughout the Southeast. Today as few as 130 are left in the wild.
In addition to the five killed so far this year, 13 died last year.
Panthers can live a natural life of longer than 10 years.
But the panther who was just killed was only two and a half, and nearly half of the panthers killed last year were under one year — still kittens.
Decades of urban sprawl have left Florida panthers eking out a living in less than 5% of their historic range.
But there's hope. The Center for Biological Diversity and our allies just won in court to block plans for massive, state-approved development in key panther habitat.
A federal judge agreed that by letting the state issue permits for projects that affect Florida's wetlands and endangered species, the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service violated the Endangered Species Act.
We first took legal action to protect panthers in 2021, and our fight goes on. We're still in court defending them from other violations of federal law.
The extinction crisis is here — and the death toll of endangered animals like panthers shows how urgently we need to act.
Agencies charged with protecting wildlife must stop letting states and corporate interests bulldoze over the places where imperiled species cling to survival.
If they don't, we'll go to court. And we'll win.
Panthers must remain fully protected by the Act, and their habitat must be secured. With your help, we'll make sure they thrive in the wild once again.
Please give today to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.
