Dear ,

As the coronavirus continues to spread across the United States, our
local Catholic Charities agencies continue to come together, now more
than ever, to provide relief to those in need.

Across the country, Catholic Charities staff and volunteers are
working to mitigate the growing concerns and fears of families losing
access to food and basic needs. The coronavirus is causing our
agencies to experience an influx of first-time clients to their food
pantries as food is not readily available in grocery stores.

Our local agency in Dallas had a record of 165 people come through
seeking assistance with food and basic necessities. The organizers
there set up a drive-through to minimize contact.

Catholic Charities of Portland Oregon has transitioned to
teleworking and they have begun to implement wellness checks over the
phone, along with technology-facilitated therapy sessions, where the
visual therapy is conducted over video conferencing.

Our local agency in Nevada is transitioning their senior's "Meals on
Wheels" program from in-person to doorstep drop-offs, and the daily
free meal program is being moved outside and served in to-go
containers.

During this time of crisis, it is more important than ever to use the
example of our local charities and come together to support each other
and adapt to the times.

Your generosity makes it easier for those in need to find comfort in this time.

Thank you for your support!
