Hey John -- It’s Diana, the Research Director here at the DSCC.
I’m reaching out to you today because our team is tracking the GOP’s latest statements on reproductive freedom, and it's getting downright disturbing.
Here’s what the Republicans who want to control the Senate have to say:
An Ohio MAGA candidate reportedly suggested that "women need help with strollers, not abortion."
Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) at first said he was "all for" Alabama's court ruling threatening IVF treatment.
Larry Hogan (R-MD) said protecting abortion in Maryland "wasn’t really necessary" and called it "an emotional issue for women."
The GOP is telling us outright what they think about women having control of their own bodies. These aren't our words -- they're theirs: If Republicans retake the Senate, they will do everything in their power to roll back reproductive rights as much as possible.
We just can’t let that happen, John. We need to put pedal to the metal from now until November to ensure the GOP has absolutely no chance of advancing their frankly dangerous agenda. That means we can’t afford to miss a single fundraising goal, but right now, we’re still $8,472 short ahead of tonight's midnight deadline. So I really have to ask:
Will you pitch in $5 or more to respond to the GOP’s attacks on reproductive rights loud and clear by stopping them from taking back the Senate in November? We can’t hit our goal without you, John >>
We need your help to defend our Senate majority. If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.
Thank you,
Diana, DSCC
