This is it, John.

Tomorrow, tens of thousands of voters in CA-30 will have their ballots counted to decide the future of our district.

Before the big day, I want to take a minute to make one last pitch as to why you should elect me as your next representative.

It has been the privilege of my life to serve this community. As a Councilmember, Mayor of the City of Glendale, and as your representative in the State Assembly for the past seven years, I’ve always been a fighter for our progressive values.

I championed bold policies to create more affordable housing, protect our reproductive freedoms, and make California a model for environmental sustainability and clean renewable energy, even as big oil fought us.

I faced intimidation and threats after I voted to ban the Glendale Gun Show from being held near our schools, because – above all else – I’m committed to keeping our community safe. And when sexual harassment scandals struck state government, I led the charge to hold perpetrators accountable.

I’m ready to deliver for this community -- on the climate crisis, housing, healthcare access, and so much more. But I cannot do this alone.

Taking our locally-grown values to Washington is going to require this whole community coming together, and I cannot put into words how much I have appreciated your support every step of the way.
