I love when the top artists release archival material from their “vault.” The Grateful Dead and associated acts are masters of this practice. Some other bands are a bit more surprising when it comes to issuing rare and previously unreleased material. For example, I’d completely ignored the Steve Miller Band’s 2019 compilation “Welcome To The Vault.” One of my good friends who has excellent taste sent me a few tracks over the weekend and I locked in on it. Dig this alternative version of “Jet Airliner.”
