Sen. Aaron Rouse

John, it’s Sen. Aaron Rouse.

If you’ve been following the news, you may have heard that my legislation which would fully legalize marijuana and create an equitable retail market has passed the House and Senate.

The bill now heads to the Governor’s desk. My message to Glenn Youngkin is simple: the ball is in your court . Don’t fumble this bill. By refusing to sign, you’re standing in the way of legitimate businesses from growing Virginia’s economy – and you’re blocking the will of the people.

It’s time to stop trying to make a political spectacle and start doing what’s right. Will you join me in signing my petition urging Glenn Youngkin to sign my historic cannabis bill? [[link removed]]

Thank you to the co-patrons of this legislation. And thank you to the broad coalition of stakeholders and advocates from across the Commonwealth who came together to ensure this bill passed.

Virginia: I need your help to get this into the end zone. Tell Governor Youngkin to make this happen! [[link removed]]
