John, by now, I'm sure you've heard the news: a ruling made by the Alabama Supreme Court has put the future of IVF in danger.
I've been a strong proponent for access to reproductive healthcare for years, so this weekend, as the Chair of the Democratic Women's Caucus, I held a press conference to reemphasize my commitment to this fight and uplift other voices who understand the dire situation we're in.
But I want to be clear about what I said during that press conference: what's going on in Alabama isn't an aberration – it's a sign of what's to come.

This ruling, combined with the Dobbs decision that occurred a couple of years ago now, paints a clear roadmap of how MAGA Republicans remain committed to holding our healthcare and family-planning decisions hostage. There is no telling where their attacks will continue in 2024 and beyond.
Now more than ever, Congress but more so our community, needs pro-choice voices to combat the GOP's dangerous and reckless attacks on our bodily autonomy.
Unfortunately, this November, I'm up against an opponent who aligns himself with these extremists, and is more concerned about showing party loyalty than protecting the rights of our people.
I'm working hard to keep my seat, but my campaign needs your help to share my message with folks across the district. Please, John, will you support a pro-choice candidate with a donation of any amount today? [[link removed]]
