The Biden Administration CAN and MUST do better to pressure Netanyahu and the Israeli government into stopping this forced starvation, murder, and mass deportation of innocent Palestinians.

Justice Democrats

John,

Over the weekend, the Biden Administration made its first verbal sign of support for a ceasefire in Gaza when Vice President Kamala Harris called for an immediate ceasefire of at least six weeks while visiting Selma, Alabama to commemorate Bloody Sunday.

This indicates our mounting grassroots pressure is working — but there is much more to do. We need this Administration to deliver legitimate action, not just sound bites, to establish a PERMANENT ceasefire.

Will you add your name to Justice Democrats’ petition demanding President Biden do everything in his power to secure a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and stop funding the Israeli military’s genocide of innocent Palestinians?

Not only is a six-week ceasefire not enough to stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing taking place against millions of Palestinians, but the Administration’s air drop of aid over the weekend was nowhere near enough to address the widespread starvation across Gaza, especially when our government continues to send bombs, weapons, and funding to the same military obstructing aid in the first place.

A total of 38,000 meals is a measly drop in the bucket for more than 2 million hungry people — and it does nothing to address the fact that the Israeli military is shooting and killing people trying to get food while aid trucks are still blocked from entering Gaza.

The Biden Administration CAN and MUST do better to pressure Netanyahu and the Israeli government into stopping this forced starvation, murder, and mass deportation of innocent Palestinians.
