Canada needs more women like these in politics, yet research suggests that a woman is 50% less likely than a man to consider running for elected office.
Which is why ahead of International Women’s Day, we’re asking supporters to chip in towards the Judy LaMarsh Fund.
This fund, named in honour of Canada’s first Liberal woman in cabinet, financially supports nominated Liberal women candidates, and gives them the resources they need to win close races.
