During our February 21st webinar, "More Than Fun & Games:
Leisure Activities & Parkinson's," Recreation
Therapist Kathy Park discussed the importance of an active leisure
lifestyle for someone living with Parkinson's. She highlighted
the benefits of physical, social, cognitive and emotional leisure
involvement within the home and community, and how doing so can help
one manage the symptoms of Parkinson's, deepen connections with
others, provide opportunity for self-expression, and stimulate the
mind. We also explored some fun and hands-on activities to follow
along.
