Over the last few hours, it has become clear that New York's students are facing an even greater crisis. Governor Cuomo wants to cut funding to schools. In September when students go back to their classrooms and are in need of the most support, there would be fewer teachers, less support staff and even more crowded classrooms.
Our state leaders can stop these cuts. They are can negotiate a state budget that taxes billionaires and fully funds our schools.

If New Yorkers believe in fighting for justice, we cannot allow the burden of this crisis to fall on children and families. Our State Senators and Assemblymembers must have the moral courage to stand up and fight for a budget that protects quality education for all children, and asks the wealthy to do their part.
