This year, Coloradans have a chance to make their voices heard early in the race for the White House. The presidential primary will be held across our state tomorrow — while voting for congressional, statewide, and local primaries will take place on Tuesday, June 25th.

We already know who the Republican nominee will be: Donald Trump.
His abuses of power and blatant disregard for democratic norms make him a threat to our country — one we can’t ignore.
We cannot get complacent. We beat Trump once and we need to do it again.
I have run in some tough races in my life. I didn’t win through fear-mongering or overpromising. I won because we listened to people from all walks of life, and found solutions to the issues they cared about most.
This November, we’ll all need to come together to win. We need to reach out to our neighbors and communities. We need to bring together Republicans, Democrats, and unaffiliated voters and find what connects us.
At the end of the day, no matter where we live, what we do, or who we love, we want the same thing: a job that pays a living wage, healthy and happy kids, an economy that works for all of us, and a government that protects and defends our basic rights. That’s what I fight for every day in the Senate, and what we need to fight for this November.
