That is what I asked the Secretary of Defense last week. After Secretary Austin went missing this past January, the American people deserve answers about our national security. And my job is to get those answers. I learned today that President Biden goes days without talking to his own Defense Secretary on a regular basis.  I shouldn’t be surprised by this lack of responsibility and transparency from an Administration that refuses to take our national security seriously.
How Is it acceptable for the President to remain disengaged from his Defense Secretary for days? Such a lack of communication between the Commander-in-Chief and the individual tasked with overseeing our national defense is unprecedented and unacceptable. I’m fighting for accountability, but I can’t do it alone. For the sake of our national security, can I count on you to pitch in ANYTHING to help me DEMAND for the resignation of Secretary Lloyd Austin?
