The Island County Long Range team currently has two surveys available on their online engagement website [ [link removed] ]: Land Use & Housing. We invite you to participate in these surveys and give input on what goals & policies need updating in the comprehensive plan update. There is also a comments section on the engagement site that is always open for public comment. 

 

Planning will be bringing the Land Use and Housing Elements forward to the Planning Commission [ [link removed] ] and Board of County Commissioners [ [link removed] ] in March. See the schedule below:


* March 6th: Board of County Commissioners - Land Use Element Goals & Policies
* March 6th: Planning Commission - Land Use Element Goals & Policies
* March 13th: Board of County Commissioners - Housing Element Goals & Policies
* March 20th: Planning Commission - Housing Element Goals & Policies
