Hello Michigan Dems!
Heartfelt congratulations on the resounding success of the Michigan Presidential Primary! From canvassing neighborhoods to staffing polling locations, Michigan Democrats continue to show strength and resolve. I am incredibly proud to stand alongside each one of you as we continue our support for President Joe Biden and relentlessly fight for a better, fairer, and more just Michigan. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are the right choice for Michiganders, and I look forward to amplifying our message as we approach the general election this November.
As we celebrate Women's History Month, we honor the remarkable contributions, achievements, and resilience of women throughout history. As we reflect on the contributions of thousands of women, let's remember who is protecting and supporting the expansion of women’s rights. Where President Biden and Vice President Harris are lowering costs and expanding access to health care, Trump and MAGA Republicans want to raise health care costs and rip away coverage from Michigan women. Trump and MAGA Republicans want to take away women’s reproductive rights and we must do all we can to stop their extremist agenda.
Although our presidential primary was a success, we have much more work to do, and it is paramount for us to coalesce support behind President Biden and Vice President Harris. A return to power for Trump and his MAGA supporters means more polarization and divisiveness, an erosion of democratic norms, a roll back of personal freedoms, and greater global instability. It's incumbent on all of us to work twice as hard to defeat Trump and elect Democrats up and down the ticket this November.
Once again, congratulations on a job well done. Your hard work, from organizing events to mobilizing voters, creates a strong foundation for our success and democratic engagement. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed, and I am honored to work once again alongside you.
Thank you,
Lavora

Yesterday Chair Barnes chatted with Senator Debbie Stabenow to talk about "Chaos."
Who is the latest candidate joining the circular firing squad in attempts to take her seat? The Republicans announced ultra-right-wing former Congressman Justin Amash as their guy.
Remember he has an extensive record of leaving Michiganders behind: supporting dangerous abortion bans, vowing to gut health care access, and backing the 2017 tax giveaway to the wealthy and large corporations. He is a badly damaged nominee who is out of touch with Michigan families.
