Indivisibles,

We’ve known for years that the U.S. health care system is fundamentally
broken, but the COVID-19 outbreak has highlighted and exacerbated every
flaw. As we continue to deal with the fallout of this pandemic, and as
thousands of people work across the country to contain its spread, it’s
more obvious than ever that everyone needs affordable, accessible health
care and prescription drugs.

But in the midst of all that, thanks to Republicans in Congress and the
White House, we’re still fighting to protect the Affordable Care Act and
to combat skyrocketing prescription drug prices. This fight will be
crucial to protect and expand care for millions of people nationwide.

[ [link removed] ]That’s why we’re excited to partner with Health Care Voter on the Our
Lives On The Line Digital Town Hall Series. These remote events will
elevate the stories and experiences of Americans affected by the spread of
the coronavirus -- and reveal how the progressive movement is still
fighting for quality, affordable health care in the midst of a pandemic.

We’re starting the digital tour with a national kick-off town hall on
Tuesday, March 31, at 6PM ET via Facebook Live. This is a great chance to
join the fight for affordable, accessible care. Here are all the details
on the kick-off event:

Who: Health Care Voter
What: Our Lives On The Line -- Kick-Off Digital Town Hall
When: Tuesday, March 31, 2020, 6PM ET
Where: [ [link removed] ]RSVP here!

The Our Lives On The Line town hall series will also include virtual
events in states across the country -- including many of our Payback
Project target states -- to discuss how Republicans in Congress and the
White House have failed us and what we’re doing to fight back.

Republicans have been working for the last decade to undermine our health
care, and their efforts made our ability to respond to the coronavirus
pandemic much, much worse. While House Democrats have led the charge on
providing bold emergency relief, Republicans and the Trump administration
have worked at every turn to weaken protections for the people and create
mass giveaways to big businesses, like pharmaceutical corporations.

Right now, we need courage from our lawmakers to put people’s lives first
and end this public health crisis -- we can’t afford for the Trump
administration and the GOP to keep failing us. We’re working to replace
the worst of these senators, but we can’t wait until November to keep
moving on health care reform.

fighting right now for better care and the health of the people.
