1. Vote or volunteer on Tuesday, March 5th!

Primary Election Day is here! Vote for the PA PAC-endorsed slate of progressive candidates on Tuesday, March 5th, between 6:30am and 7:30pm at your precinct polling location. You can look up your polling location here and accepted forms of identification here

Volunteers will be sharing information about our endorsed candidates at polling locations across Durham on Election Day. Sign up to volunteer at the polls here!

2. Join/Renew your membership for 2024

PA members have been hard at work this year organizing our PAC endorsement process, mailers and canvasses, co-hosting the Triangle Forum on Affordable Housing, a sold-out screening of the documentary 36 seconds: Portrait of a Hate Crime and the Public Schools: Black Women Lead event, and holding action team and behind-the-scenes team meetings (think database, communications, and fundraising!). Our board voted to endorse the ceasefire resolution that the Durham City Council passed on 02/20, we've been alongside DPS staff at Board of Education meetings, and we were in the streets at the Moral March on Raleigh on 03/02!

Your membership dues and generous donations to the PA PAC and the PA Fund make this work possible. Will you become a 2024 member or sustainer today?

Already a member? Consider making a donation to the PA PAC or PA Fund!

3. Take action with an issue team

Our action teams are welcoming new members who want to organize for progressive policy changes in Durham! Join us at one of the upcoming meetings:

  • Education: supports public education for all Durham families with a focus school safety and exceptional children. Join our next meeting on Tuesday, March 19th, from 8-9:30pm on Zoom. Register here.
