Hi John,

One of my favorite things about Brian is that he’s done so much in his life, and every time I learn something new about him, it just makes me like him more. The fun fact I discovered this week is that on top of being a former test-pilot for the Air Force, a Harvard-trained trauma surgeon, and a Congressional policy advisor… Brian was the drummer in a band called the Red Hot Willie Peppers.

For a band to play the perfect tune, there's a lot of elements that have to work together toward a common goal. Guitar, keyboard, vocals, drums — everyone has to be in sync. Brian isn't running for Congress to bust out a killer drum solo — he's running to do his part and pass life-saving legislation.

As a former advisor to Nancy Pelosi and Chris Murphy, Brian knows the legislative process like the back of his hand. And as a doctor, veteran, and member of the TX-32 community, he knows how to use it to find solutions to the issues that matter most.
