I have some great news to report. . .

You may already know your Campaign for Liberty has been integral
to advancing state-level CBDC ban legislation across the country.


As of Friday, we have helped force bills through five states! And
legislation is moving through a dozen more.

But there is news out of Washington, D.C. as well.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced the "CBDC Anti-Surveillance
State Act," (S. 3801) last week, which would ban Central Bank
Digital Currencies!

The CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act would:

>> Prohibit the Federal Reserve from issuing CBDCs or anything
substantially similar, under any other name or label, directly to
an individual;

>> Prohibit the Fed from indirectly issuing a CBDC;

>> Prohibit the Fed from using a CBDC for monetary policy;

>> Prohibit the Board of Governors of the Fed from issuing a
CBDC;

>> And it includes clear language that this does not apply to
open, permissionless, private currencies (i.e. crypto).

With seven cosponsors in the Senate, the bill is already off to a
good start, but I need you to tell your U.S. Senators to become
cosponsors right away!

Patriot, the CBDC has been pushed, promoted, and developed by the
Federal Reserve for years now -- despite a lack of legislative
authority to do so. . .

And as many have been saying for some time, all they need is the
next banking crisis to exploit a panic and introduce it.

For them, it's not enough the Fed's "print now, ask questions
later" monetary policy helps them pretend they aren't destroying
the purchasing power of your money.

They want the ability to spend and spend on every boondoggle and
bailout put in front of them, without the "hindrance" of the Fed
actually having to print the paper dollars they create out of
thin air.

And even more, the government wants a currency they can monitor,
profile you with, limit what you can and cannot buy, and if
needed, confiscate from you with the push of a button.

That's why it's such great news that - thanks to all of you who
sent in your petitions demanding Congress BAN the Central Bank
Digital Currency - we now have a robust bill to do exactly that.

Now it's time to call upon all of our U.S. Senators to cosponsor
S. 3801, the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act!

CBDCs are not just another method of digital payment - they could
completely upend the banking system and destroy banking as we
know it.

Because everything is digital, there is no physical currency and
therefore no physical infrastructure to maintain. A CBDC would
allow the central bank to issue currency directly to consumers.
Thus, each ordinary American citizen would have an account of
their own with the central bank, receiving money directly from
the central bank. . .

Until Uncle Sam decides to "de-bank" you . . . based on what you
buy, who you know, or what your politics are.

The Fed would just love to have the ability to force Americans to
spend more and save less . . . or tell you what to spend YOUR
money on.

But remember: All the "No CBDC Act" does is strengthen existing
law by replacing an omission of authority with a hard
prohibition. Congress never authorized the creation of a CBDC,
and the Federal Reserve cannot create a new currency without
congressional authority.

Despite the lack of authority to create a CBDC, the Federal
Reserve has been actively going down that path. Several Federal
Reserve Banks have posted job openings related to the creation of
a CBDC, including . . .

"The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking for a
software engineer to help develop and implement systems related
to a central bank digital currency (CBDC)."

The Fed doesn't have the authority yet they are still actively
building a CBDC behind the scenes. We need to stop this now!

So take a moment to tell your U.S. Senators to force the Fed to
follow the law and PROHIBIT a Central Bank Digital Currency by
cosponsoring S. 3801!

to BAN the CBDC!
