As salaamu alaykum John,

Since 2011, more than 300 Muslim charities lost their tax-exempt status.
While there are many reasons for these revocations, one thing is clear:
Muslim nonprofit leaders need information about laws regulating
nonprofit work to safeguard our institutions.

This is why Muslim Legal Fund of America started the Muslim Nonprofit
Leadership Conference in 2016. The MNLC is a nationwide multi-city tour
of law conferences specifically designed to provide strategically
focused information on laws related to operating a nonprofit
organization.

In 2017 alone, MLFA brought the law conference to more than 500
community leaders from all over the nation. Thanks to our generous
donors, we are making our communities stronger.

In faith and for justice,
