Hi there,

There are states right here in the U.S. in which it is now dangerous to be a woman. But the states with laws banning abortion and critical reproductive healthcare (mostly red states) are, unfortunately, not the same states being prioritized by Democratic institutions (mostly blue and purple states).

Texas is a great example of a purple state in which women are getting left behind. At Her Bold Move, we believe those women desperately need representation in the rooms where decisions are being made.

The primary election in Texas is happening TUESDAY, and we have endorsed candidates in some of the most important races who need support in their final stretch: Will you rush a last-minute donation of $20.24 or more right now to ensure our Texas candidates have what they need to reach voters over the next 2 days and make it through their primary election on TUESDAY?

✅ Angel Carroll for Texas House District 52: In this primary, Angel is the only woman of color, and the only candidate who has gone on record as pro-choice (her opponent has not made a public stance on this issue). Angel has firsthand experience with the Texas Juvenile Justice Advisory Board and the juvenile justice system. That experience has fueled her dedication to tackling the school-to-prison pipeline issue and crafting laws that improve outcomes for all students. Additionally, growing up in the district has equipped her to authentically and comprehensively represent the diverse needs and aspirations of every resident.

Angel’s primary opponent has been silent on the issue of abortion. In these times, we cannot afford to elect any Democratic candidates who have not gone on the record as pro-choice – especially in Texas (and especially when there’s a strong pro-choice option on the ballot). Will you rush a last-minute donation of $20.24 or more right now to ensure her campaign has what they need to reach voters over the next 2 days and get through their primary election on TUESDAY?

Angel has stated: “I firmly support the right to safe and legal abortion, emphasizing the necessity to maintain women's control over their bodies.”’

✅ Molly Cook for Texas Senate District 15: Molly is an ER nurse, community organizer, and advocate for a more sustainable Texas. She recognizes that Texas needs a bold leader who is willing to stand up for the women in her state. If elected, she has plans to support statewide grassroots organizing within the Texas Senate to move the needle on abortion access. She is determined to end interpersonal violence, reduce gun violence, reduce maternal mortality rates (especially in Black communities and communities of color), and more.

Here’s the thing: In order to keep her ads running through Election Day, they need to raise an additional $5,200. Molly needs support ASAP – these final few hours are her last chance! Will you rush $20.24 or more immediately to help her campaign fill that gap and make sure as many voters as possible can see her ad on TV?
