Last week, a federal judge blocked a Texas law from taking effect that would have given Texas authorities the ability to arrest and deport individuals suspected of entering the U.S. without authorization at the U.S.-Mexico border.
The American Immigration Council fought against Texas’ unconstitutional bill, known as SB 4, as well as two other anti-immigrant bills. We proudly joined 150+ organizations from the TRUST Coalition to strongly oppose SB 4.
