How about a little good news to start your weekend?
We just outraised Kevin Kiley. BIG time.
In other words, our grassroots campaign is already overperforming a congressional incumbent bankrolled by dark money and special interest groups.
I don’t think I have to tell you this, but that’s huge. When we started this journey we knew we were going to have to outwork, outfight, and yes, outraise Kiley to have the resources to show this district that there’s a better path forward.
When you tell people that you’re trying to unseat an incumbent, they’re skeptical. And I get it! Seeing is believing, in life and in politics. “Show me, don’t tell me, that you can do this”, as the refrain goes.
That’s why this matters. Because we’re showing our strength as a campaign. And people around the country are starting to notice that something special is happening in California’s 3rd Congressional District.
It’s our last month of the quarter, and if we’re going to continue fighting to show Californians — and our nation — that a path to a blue House starts in CA-03, we need to keep up the momentum.
